Overall Purpose of the Role This is a medium level analyst position that will be responsible for ensuring the proper accounting and financial reporting for the acquisition, construction and disposition of TWDC fixed assets in compliance with corporate guidelines and in accordance with GAAP. This role will support the capitalization of fixed assets for all Walt Disney Company segment both US domestic and international. It is expected to work out stakeholders’ request independently as well as mentor junior team members. Responsibility Perform the analysis of medium to complex project Accounting and Engineering source documents, invoices and purchase orders, interview project managers on the details of the capital initiatives. Prepare quarterly account reconciliations and CapEx reports Lead/participate meetings with internal and external stakeholders to address accounting/company policy guidance and provide solution independently. Lead small group to achieve the team goal or project. Documentation for standardize of guidance. Perform review of peer or lowered-tier staff work and coach new cast members. Experience and Professional Qualifications Required Bachelor’s degree in finance, Accounting or related major Written and verbal fluency in English 5 years accounting experience, preferably with a large-scale, multi-national employer Working knowledge of MS Outlook, MS Word, MS Excel (Formulas), MS PowerPoint SAP knowledge Desired Experience and Professional Qualifications CPA, or equivalent preferred Excellent user of Excel Automation experience (Python, Power BI, Alteryx, etc) Working knowledge of project manager Experience working in a shared service environment..
