Caterpillar Large Power System Division is looking for Senior Design Engineers to accelerate the development of Advanced Power Products Battery Thermal Management Systems (BTMS). This position will be accountable to support the development of a portfolio of BTMS - Battery Thermal Management Systems and ITMS - Integrated Thermal Management System through the New Technology Introduction (NTI) and New Product Introduction (NPI) phases. Candidates will have to work closely with cooling technical leads and product groups to understand application requirements to support structural and system integration into the machine applications.
Engineers must manage their own development, continuously learn through experience and stay abreast of technology changes. Learning will focus on methods, processes and systems applied to engineering functions, key engineering skills, practical application of theory, communications and building a knowledge of Caterpillar’s products, suppliers, and customers.
This individual must have good communication skills to effectively collaborate with various product development teams, suppliers, purchasing, and quality to deliver validated design solutions to our challenging electrification program deliverables and timelines simultaneously.
