Additionally, the incumbent will work in multidisciplinary teams to collaborate with professionals from other engineering disciplines to ensure seamless integration of mechanical engineering. Accountabilities: ? Responsible for risk identification, safety practices, environmental, security and quality management of the Zone 5 mining project during construction and operations. ? Adhering to the company’s SHEC policy, procedure and Code of Conduct and acting as conduit to suppliers, and contractors. ? Developing an understanding of the specific electrical engineering requirements per project. ? Providing technical support for vendors, field mechanical personnel, and engineering subcontractors as related to inquiries. ? Undertaking electrical analysis, engineering and design as required to support the project ? Developing scopes of work and cost estimates supporting for the project as required ? Developing commissioning and operational readiness plans supporting particularly with input to electrical systems ? Assisting with commissioning of individual equipment and unit plant areas ? Using your knowledge, education and experience with renewable energy systems, identify, scope and assisting in renewable energy initiatives ? Maintaining project-specific requirements while applying general knowledge of mining and processing systems, equipment and project general specifications and standards. ? Identifying and mitigating risks related to cost, schedule, technical performance, feasibility and logistics. ? Comply with company policies, procedures, standard operating practices, and the Code of Conduct.
